miniCELLULA

Kleine Zellen, Große Gemeinschaft

A project by Maja Zimmerlin, Umberto Freddi and Kritonas Anastasopoulos with ANASA e.V.

A dance and acrobatics project for children in the field of cultural education, exploring trust, balance, and togetherness through play, partneracrobatics and dance.

Based on the performance CELLULA, “Kleine Zellen, Große Gemeinschaft” brings a scaled-down, mobile wooden structure into schools and kindergartens: two walkable wooden cells that serve as a shifting stage and movement landscape. Children experiment, balance, and build living sculptures together — experiencing concretely that they are part of a community and that they carry each other.

Its format is a five-day project week for schools and kindergartens, or a three-day workshop at circus and dance festivals. Both culminate in a final performance with the children, an acrobat, a dancer, and a live musician.
